My first time on a bike in months, the downhill season kicks off with a tough course at Mountain Creek (fka Diablo). I forgot my brake was broken, so Jamie quickly gave me the rear brake off of his cross-country bike. I came in a respectable 2nd place of 5 riders in my category. Jamie also took second and finished the course exactly one minute faster than I did. It was great fun, can’t wait to do it again.
