I adore this instructable so I had to post it. Grab yourself an old sweater and a pair of flats from the thrift store or a clothing swap and make some fashionable sweater boots.
I made a simple pair of these tonight. I didn't do the embroidery, button or cuff. I used a thrifted black sweater and some thrifted black leather slip ons and made a cute pair of sweater boots that look a bit like knee high socks. I made a matching hat using the brimmed beanie tutorial and now I have an adorable matching set. I gave the hat to my mom, maybe I should give her the boots too
